Keitech was founded in 1996 by Key Hayashi, one of Japan's most successful tournament anglers. The lures were initially developed for bass fishing. However, fans of Keitech quickly emerged worldwide, not just in the bass fishing scene. For many years, the Keitech brand has been synonymous with artificial lures flavored with squid oil. Large predators, which may have had bad experiences with artificial lures in the past, are very selective about their preferred food. This gives Keitech a significant advantage. Thanks to this flavor, the angler has a bit more time to set the hook after a bite. Conventional soft plastics are often spat out immediately.
