Katadyn Micropur Classic MC 1000 F

With Micropur Classic MC 1000F from Katadyn, harmful germs and bacteria present in water are safely and easily inactivated by silver ions. The effectiveness of Micropur Classic is based on the bacteriostatic and bactericidal properties of silver. Unlike chlorine, which only works for a few hours in water, silver ions can preserve water for up to six months. The silver ions attach to the cell walls of microorganisms, thereby preventing their growth. One milliliter is sufficient for ten liters of water – so the 100 milliliters of content is enough for a total of 1000 liters of clear drinking water. The water can be stored for up to six months after a two-hour exposure time. The liquid is particularly useful where drinking water remains in a system for an extended period – such as in cooling circuits, heating circuits, humidifiers, cisterns, water tanks, water baths, incubators, and more. It is therefore also ideal for water conservation on boats, campers, caravans, cabins, and more.
