Karpos Lavaredo Jacket

Your mouth twists into a satisfied smile as your muscles burn and your lungs fill with cold air on a full moon night. These are the feelings that Philipp Ausserhofer experiences during his training run in the moonlight up to Passo dei Salati, wearing his light and warm Lavaredo Jacket.

The Lavaredo Jacket, which can be quickly packed away and easily thrown on, is a lightweight, breathable jacket designed for trail running and fast hiking in spring and autumn. It provides warmth, wind protection, and maximum breathability. Based on the Alagna Plus Evo, a hybrid jacket for ski mountaineers, the structure has been simplified and altered to create a new and innovative garment with a hybrid construction.

By combining materials with different properties, the Lavaredo Jacket has been developed, featuring Polartec Alpha insulation (50 g/m2) for the desired thermal insulation. The windproof material protects the torso, while the 117 g Sensitive Plus fabric at the lower part of the jacket, in the middle of the back, and on the hood ensures maximum breathability. The result is a jacket that optimally combines lightness, weather protection, and breathability, making it an indispensable piece of gear.
