The Flóki saddle features a deep and soft seat that provides the rider with an optimal position, along with short and soft knee rolls specifically designed to give the rider excellent support. The seat is curved and has good, soft thigh rolls. The rider's center of gravity is located in the middle of the saddle, and the saddle has monoflap panels that ensure close contact between the horse and the rider.

It is made from high-quality leather and has wool panels that protect both the horse's back and the rider's. The wool panels are less flexible and adaptable than latex panels but can be reshaped and adjusted by a saddler.

The saddle allows for great freedom in the shoulders, enabling the horse to move freely while tölting. It is built on a flexible tree that also offers very good cushioning properties and weight distribution. The head iron can be changed and is available in 7 different widths (Model "F").

The saddle has a short contact area that fits very well to the back of the Icelandic horse.
