Product details
The Wayback 96 delivers top-notch performance on every powder run. At the same time, it is narrow enough to excel during ascents and, due to its relatively lightweight design, is well-suited for extended high-altitude adventures. The Wayback 96 features a taper at the tip and tail, a stronger rocker at the tip, and a light rocker at the ski's end. It is also wide enough to provide excellent floatation in deep snow. The solid sidewall construction beneath the binding enhances edge grip.
The Marker Kingpin 13 is a touring binding that represents a perfect combination of a PinTech binding and a frame binding, offering excellent power transfer, stability, and top safety ratings. This makes the Marker Kingpin 13 highly versatile, suitable for both classic ski tours and freetouring as well as high-alpine excursions. A heel construction with a power transmitter and the Kingpin toe piece with six steel springs ensure grip and maximum power transfer. The transition from ascent to descent mode is facilitated by a sophisticated mechanism. Changing modes can be done in both directions without having to exit the binding, which is especially advantageous in deep snow and for short descents with skins.
