Jaykay E-fin

The E-Finne is a fully integrated underwater drive designed in Finnish style for stand-up paddles or similar water sports equipment with US-Box or Slot-Box mounts. Whether you have stand-up paddle boards, windsurfers, wave riders, or kayaks, you can enjoy the freedom to choose your board and quickly and easily install the E-Finne. The drive has a power output of approximately 400 watts and generates a thrust of around 5 kg. The power can be adjusted continuously via the remote control, resulting in running times ranging from 0.5 to 4 hours. The achievable speed largely depends on the geometry of the hull and the weight of the rider, typically ranging from 6 to 8 km/h. The drive, controller, and energy storage are completely integrated into the fin and are dust and waterproof according to IP 68 standards. The E-Finne can be mounted on all SUPs or kayaks with Slot-Box or US-Box mounts using screw-on adapters. The drive is regulated by a smart control system. A rotary dial allows you to choose between two modes: "Automatic" and "Manual." In Automatic mode, the E-Finne provides supportive power with every paddle stroke in the water. If you want to manually and continuously regulate the drive, simply switch modes and adjust the speed individually using the continuous power controller. The E-Finne is not compatible with carbon-reinforced boards and sinkers, as both can lead to signal interruptions between the E-Finne and the controller.
