Based on the SupTraction Rubber Soul CL (CL for Clipless) with a reinforced shaft and Ortholite Eco Plush insole, this top-tier shoe offers more than just uncompromising power transfer to the pedal: the construction combines stiffness in the longitudinal axis with flexibility in the transverse axis and the upper material. This torsional design prevents the foot from rolling on the pedal. Special pedaling and climbing zones ensure grip on and off the pedal. Additionally, the SerpenTie 2.0 closure system provides a perfect fit and finish of the upper material, allowing each foot to find its individual fit. The improved version of the closure system even allows for strap adjustments to prevent flapping. The Airprene gaiter at the shaft adapts to the ankle and keeps dirt out while still allowing your feet to breathe—even on hot days. The full Kevlar upper makes this shoe robust against impacts. No-Sew reinforcements protect the toes from snagging on rocks or roots. In the ankle area, the higher-cut shaft along with the ankle pad protects and supports the lower ankle joint without compromising freedom of movement while pedaling or steering the bike through the pedals. The combination of heel hold (thanks to the pre-shaped heel area and padding), a supportive footbed, and cushioned midsole provides an exceptional wearing experience. Weight: 478 g per shoe.
