Icebug Spirit8 OLX

The Spirit has been around for many years and remains the preferred shoe for many orienteering runners and off-trail athletes, whether they are world champions or amateurs. The key to its success lies in the combination of lightweight, agility, and traction, without compromising on durability. The upper is made of bluesign high abrasion polyester with protective TPU reinforcement, very smooth and offering a thin, direct feel. The low-cut shaft and very comfortable heel cup relieve pressure on the Achilles tendon. The closed-cell foam in the heel cap and the polyester upper absorb very little water (maximum 20% increase when wet). The low sole profile and minimal drop optimize ground control while still being flexible enough to allow natural foot movement. The last has been updated with a slightly roomier toe box. The outsole provides excellent grip, enhanced in an impressive way by an innovative diagonal groove pattern with 14 integrated OLX hard metal spikes.
