Product details

The HORKA back protector offers protection from both the front and back, just like a regular body protector. There is a standard for back protectors, EN 1621-2. This protector and this standard originate from motorsport, as there is currently no European certification for this type of protector in equestrian sports. Motorsport disciplines experience similar impact forces during falls, which is why this type of protection is permitted in horseback riding. Various sectors of the equestrian industry aim to manage the same certification in a few years to create clarity in the market. The back protector is increasingly used in equestrian sports as it provides more flexibility and comfort than body protectors. The EVA foam parts are perforated, allowing for better ventilation compared to protectors with solid hard foam blocks. Product specifications: Washing instructions: 30 degrees in the washing machine. Material: Cover: 90% nylon, 10% polyester / Lining: EVA memory foam. Most foam parts can be removed, making the back protector suitable for the washing machine. Technical data: Size chart.
