The compact tunnel tent with a sewn-in floor keeps moisture, dirt, and crawling animals out. The living area features a 2m headroom, providing ample space for camping gear. Two mosquito net entrances ventilate the living area while keeping insects out. Three clear film windows allow light into the living area, and curtains protect from prying eyes. The roof has an aluminum coating that is heat reflective.

Two permanent vents ensure ventilation even on rainy days and should always remain open. The High Peak 3-stage Dual Flow ventilation in the sleeping area adapts perfectly to any weather situation:
1. Tropical nights: Open the large mosquito window 100%.
2. Dry weather: Open the cover flap variably to 30 - 50% as needed.
3. Bad weather: Close the cover 100%. Permanent ventilation is utilized under the cover flap.

The tent features extra strong zippers, and the zipper cover is equipped with an additional rain gutter for extra moisture protection. The very strong 5mm steel ground pegs do not bend even on hard ground. The seams are sealed waterproof with seam tape, providing better seam-tear resistance. A cable entrance with a zipper allows for cable routing for lighting.

The darkened inner tent includes a Vario Vent Control System. Two mosquito net entrances keep pests away and can be conveniently operated from the inside based on climate conditions. With a zippered partition, the inner tent can be divided into a large cabin or two sleeping areas. Five practical organizers and five inner tent pockets are available for utensils, along with two lamp holders for camping lights.

The Meran 5.0 offers enough space for up to five people with camping equipment. Its compact exterior size and quick pitching make it ideally suited for camping vacations and weekend trips at the lake.
