The Army Leather Heli Ski by Hestra was originally developed for ski guides in Western Canada who needed a reliable and warm ski glove for long days in the snow and cold. Made from durable goatskin leather that provides exceptional grip and feel, and with a waterproof three-layer polyamide fabric backhand. This 3-finger model is designed for those who are looking for more warmth but still need to be able to work with their fingers, and it has a number of smart functions that help when you can't go indoors to warm up as often. The inner lining, for example, can be easily removed and replaced if it gets damp or to adapt it to different activities and temperatures. And the long collar is fitted with a snow guard which, together with a Velcro wrist fastener, ensures that the warmth stays inside the glove. The wrist loop reduces the risk of dropping the glove when you take it off to make a phone call or adjust your equipment. With the included carabiner and leather loop on the little finger, the glove can also be hung on your ski pants or climbing harness with the opening facing down - handy for preventing it from filling up with snow when you're working with only a thin liner on your hands.
