Hauptner Muzzle gate for smaller breeds of dogs

Muzzle for smaller dogs, spacing 8.5 cm, rust-resistant

We provide muzzles for examinations and treatments in the head area of dogs. Muzzles consist of mouth parts and a connecting bridge along with a spring. The upper mouth part is movable and is guided downwards for insertion by pushing down the spring. The mouth parts are equipped with rubber buffers that have a hole in the middle for the canine teeth. This simultaneously protects these teeth during examinations. Once the upper mouth part is released, the lower and upper jaws are spread apart. Due to the natural counterpressure from the dog, the upper mouth part then locks into place on the connecting rod. This allows for examinations of the teeth or in the throat area to be conducted.
