Product details
Waterproof hiking boots for demanding mountain hikes. The Makra Trek GTX by Hanwag are hiking boots that will accompany you even on challenging terrain up to the 3000-meter altitude line. Thanks to the Vibram Integral Light sole construction with a low profile, they are among the lighter boots, but they provide strong weather protection due to the waterproof GORE-TEX membrane. With reduced cushioning, they are best suited for tours with minimal luggage.
Stable footing and robust upper material. The fit is based on a more technically demanding trekking last, which makes these hiking shoes perform well on difficult terrain. The flat sole construction additionally ensures stability and grip. The upper material made of Perwanger suede leather is characterized by exceptional toughness and durability, reliably protecting your feet from debris. The 2-zone lacing with a mechanical clamp ensures a secure heel hold. Once fixed, nothing shifts.
Together with the completely waterproof and breathable membrane, these components create a solid footwear option that belongs in the upper range of hiking boots, with a slight overlap into the classic trekking boot category. Like all shoes from Hanwag, the Makra Trek GTX are also 100% manufactured in Europe.
Your advantages at a glance:
- Waterproof hiking boots for challenging terrain
- Stability thanks to low profile
- 2-zone lacing with mechanical clamp
