Thanks to the Vibram Integral Light sole construction with a low profile, they are among the lighter boots, but they provide strong weather protection due to the waterproof GORE-TEX membrane. With reduced cushioning, they are best suited for tours with minimal luggage.

The flat sole construction additionally ensures stability and grip.
