Its lightweight yet particularly stable midsole is made of PU and EVA: the oversized PU heel provides excellent cushioning, while a reinforcing PU foam wedge in the heel area supports an ideal rolling motion. EVA in the forefoot area ensures precision in the step, and the exclusive Vibram "Makra outsole" offers outstanding grip. A characteristic of the Makra family is the optimized Ghilly lacing that extends into the toe area, with the laces threaded through textile loops. This design provides good support in the front area, even in a mid-cut model, ensuring stability in the shoe. Thanks to the waterproof GORE-TEX membrane, feet stay dry even in unpredictable weather.
