Product details
The low cut version of the Makra Pro GTX - the Makra Pro Low GTX - is an approach shoe designed for demanding terrain. But what actually makes a good approach shoe? Versatility is key. The Makra Pro Low GTX performs well on various terrains: from paved paths to forests and meadows, all the way to rocky fields. Comfort, stability, and flexibility play crucial roles here. Its lightweight yet particularly stable midsole is made of PU and EVA: the oversized PU heel provides perfect cushioning, while a reinforcing PU foam wedge in the heel area supports an ideal rolling motion. EVA in the forefoot area ensures precision during the push-off, and the exclusive Vibram "Makra outsole" offers excellent grip. A feature of the Makra family is the optimized ghillie lacing that extends to the toe area, allowing the laces to be threaded through textile loops. This design provides good support in the front area even in a mid-cut model, ensuring a stable fit. Thanks to the waterproof GORE-TEX membrane, your feet stay dry even in unpredictable weather. The Perwanger leather is robust, breathable, and durable. A combination of materials that impresses across the board.
