A notch is incorporated at the heel for crampons. The waterproof GORE-TEX membrane reliably protects the feet from moisture.

The Vibram Makra outsole offers good grip even on difficult surfaces. The midsole is a mix of PU, TPU, and EVA, providing comfortable cushioning that varies depending on the area of the foot. This ensures precision in the forefoot area and comfort in the heel area, making it ideal for technical tours with a bit more luggage. The Alpine Wide last is characterized by a wider forefoot area, keeping the shoes comfortable even on long distances.
