They are suitable for challenging mountain hikes with glacier passages and easier high-altitude and rock tours in summer. Thanks to the sturdy construction with extremely robust Perwanger leather, a surrounding stone guard, and a 2-zone fixation with a mechanical clamp, these hiking shoes are equipped for mountainous or even rough terrain. A notch is integrated at the heel for crampons. The waterproof GORE-TEX membrane reliably protects the feet from moisture.

Stable yet lightweight sole construction. The sole design is extremely stable and torsion-resistant, yet surprisingly lightweight. It provides a balanced ratio of stability and lightness. The Vibram Makra outsole offers good grip even on difficult surfaces. The midsole is a mix of PU, TPU, and EVA, providing comfortable cushioning for each step, varying by foot area. This ensures precision in the forefoot area and comfort in the heel area, making it ideal for technical tours with a bit more luggage. The Alpine Wide last features a wider forefoot area, ensuring comfort even on long distances.
