This shoe is suitable for daily activities, leisure, and walks on good paths, as well as light hiking in flat terrain. Welt-stitched: A traditional, highly skilled craftsmanship method where the upper and sole unit are connected with stitches. Very comfortable to wear due to quick moisture absorption and a natural feel. Good fit. Dries slower than synthetic linings, making it less suitable for tours in wet regions. Fewer seams reduce the risk of potential pressure points and seam wear. It looks simple but is difficult and expensive to produce. Thanks to the welted or double-stitched construction, Hanwag's shoes can be resoled multiple times.
