There is hardly a mountain adventure that the Friction II GTX cannot handle. This versatile shoe feels just as at home on demanding hikes as it does on climbing tours in the high mountains or on glaciers. Semi-automatic crampons can be quickly attached and fit perfectly thanks to the stiff sole. Comfort is provided by a continuous, shock-absorbing insole. The upper material is made of robust mountain cowhide and durable Cordura. Thoughtful insulation and the GORE-TEX lining keep your toes warm and dry. The low-set lacing runs through nylon loops and, with locking hooks and a two-zone lacing system, ensures an optimal and secure fit.
