A polyurethane foam wedge, approximately 1.5 millimeters thick, in the midsole ensures a smoother rolling motion, noticeably better cushioning, and increased comfort during long walks. The Banks is ideal for demanding hikes in the low mountain ranges and pre-Alpine regions, as well as for light hut trails without heavy luggage. The GORE-TEX lining keeps the feet reliably dry.
