These lightweight, mid-cut hiking shoes are particularly suitable for individuals suffering from hallux valgus (misalignment of the big toe). Hanwag has widened the shoes in the forefoot area, providing improved comfort while maintaining excellent support. The upper material is made of nubuck leather, making it both durable and supple. Combined with the GORE-TEX lining, the shoes are also breathable and waterproof.

Self-cleaning sole with a wide contact area. A look at the sole reveals that the Alta Bunion II GTX can handle long distances. The wide contact area provides good stability, allowing for relatively fatigue-free hiking on long treks. The tread ensures good grip and is additionally self-cleaning.
