Like every GPA helmet, the 4S has been developed with maximum protection in mind. The 4S is a technological revolution with its four layers that provide optimum shock absorption and better resistance to lateral compression.

Unrivalled shock absorption is achieved through the outer shell made of absorbent polymer, which absorbs the initial impact through deformation. The second layer absorbs the energy of the impact, while the third layer of glass fibre ensures the rigidity of the entire helmet to prevent lateral compression. The fourth layer is the polystyrene shell, which completes the deceleration of the impact by crushing under the impact, thus protecting the cranial box from skull injuries.

An optimised ventilation system, featuring numerous front and side vents along with rear extractors, offers maximum airflow.

Unrivalled comfort is provided by the new one-piece, removable liner that can be washed and replaced if necessary. The soft and fluffy interior is treated to be antibacterial.

Maximum safety is ensured thanks to unrivalled stability. The Twin Lock System (TLS), a patented rigid chin strap, has been completely redeveloped to offer maximum stability and support, previously reserved exclusively for motorbike helmets. The thermoplastic resin chin strap provides extended neck protection, as its coverage area is larger than that of conventional helmets. The reinforcement from the chin strap of the shell increases resistance in the event of a side impact.

The new Fidlock magnetic fastener can be opened and closed quickly with one hand, making handling much easier. The flexibility of the TLS offers additional comfort as it adapts to the morphology of each individual. The TLS chin strap is the hallmark of the new GPA riding helmet collection.
