Giro Switchblade MIPS Helmet

The Switchblade MIPS is our new ASTM downhill certified full-face helmet with a removable chin bar. Everything about this helmet is optimized for downhill, which is why it is certified to CPSC, EN-1078, and ASTM-1952-DH standards, both with and without the chin bar. The chin bar is easy to remove; simply press the buttons under the chin bar and lift it up. Installing the chin bar is just as easy. The Switchblade MIPS features the new Roc Loc Air DH Fit System, designed to prevent accidental adjustments when in contact with a backpack or neck brace. When the chin bar is removed, the built-in ventilation openings behind the cheek pads help keep your head cool on the way to the next uphill stage. The full-cut style gives this helmet an aggressive look and provides ASTM certification even when the chin bar is removed.
