Giro Montaro

Its compact shell is designed for better protection, extending low down, and its Roc Loc Air adjustment system enhances ventilation and improves fit. For even more cooling and comfortable wear, the hydrophilic, antimicrobial pads can absorb and wick away ten times their weight in sweat. Cyclists who wear goggles will love the Montaro. Full goggle integration is ensured by the anti-slip zone on the back of the helmet and the P.O.V. Plus visor, which can be pushed far up when the goggles are placed on the front of the helmet. Another feature is the full integration of a "Break-Away" mount for a camera or a helmet light. The MIPS (Multidirectional Impact Protection System) consists of a movable shell inside the helmet that follows head movements (10-15 mm) and dampens any rotational energy that may occur during falls to protect the brain. In the Roc Loc Air system, the adjustment mechanism is housed in a mini casing. Size adjustment is simple and done in micro increments with two fingers. For the perfect fit, the system can be adjusted in height, providing excellent airflow and ventilation inside the helmet. The unique design creates a small air cushion between the helmet shell and the head, allowing the airflow to flow freely and cool without compromising fit and comfort.
