Giro Latch

The Latch is designed to create the best possible connection between you and the flat pedal - especially when the trail gets fast and rough. We started with a new fit that brings the foot closer to the pedal and flattens the sole profile, optimizing the contact area between the sole and pedal. Then we worked with a team of rubber developers to create Tack Rubber, a highly resilient compound that combines grip with durability in our new Gamma Profile design. At the heart of the shoe is Mute Foam, a midsole foam specifically engineered with a slow rebound that reduces chatter and vibration and ensures you stay connected to the pedal regardless of ruts, roots and rocks. The unique combination of fit, a quick-drying microfiber upper, the grip of Tack Rubber and the cushioning of Mute Foam makes the Latch a new benchmark for flat pedal performance.
