Giro Helios Spherical MIPS

The centerpiece of the extraordinary design and performance of the Helios is the Spherical technology, which utilizes MIPS's unique spherical joint technology, the market leader in head and brain protection. The Spherical technology allows the outer shell of the helmet to rotate around the inner shell during a fall. At the same time, the progressive layering system of the two shells provides comprehensive protection and performance. In addition to enhanced head protection, the 15 ventilation openings of the Helios ensure optimal airflow, further improved by Giro's patented Roc Loc 5 Air Fit system. The antimicrobial Ionic+ padding not only offers superior antimicrobial sweat absorption properties but also ensures maximum comfort. The Helios is perfectly suited for all road and gravel adventures.

MIPS Spherical is the evolution of the Multi-Directional Impact Protection System. Crafted in Giro's signature design, the two layers of EPP foam in two hardness levels act as a joint that can move a few millimeters in any direction, effectively reducing rotational energy during certain impact angles.
