The Eclipse Spherical is an outstanding aero road bike helmet that combines Giro's best technologies in a lightweight, compact form, making it ideal for use on road or gravel bikes. The sleek outer shell actively directs airflow to maximize the reduction of drag at various wind angles. Additionally, 14 Wind Tunnel ventilation openings provide incredible cooling performance. Inside, MIPS Spherical technology enhances safety. The outer EPS helmet shell rotates a few millimeters upon impact around the inner shell to minimize the rotational forces generated during an impact. The progressive inner and outer shells with different EPS foam densities also contribute to comprehensive protection. The patented Roc Loc 5 Air system improves comfort and fit. The soft Ionic+ padding ensures exceptional sweat absorption and has antimicrobial properties.

MIPS Spherical is the evolution of the Multi-Directional Impact Protection System. Crafted in Giro's signature design, the two layers of EPP foam in different hardness levels act as a kind of joint that can move a few millimeters in any direction, effectively reducing rotational energy at certain impact angles.
