It is manufactured with in-mold construction to reduce weight while increasing durability, allowing it to withstand daily use. Thanks to the Cord Loc Fit System, the helmet can be adjusted easily and quickly. The integrated multidirectional impact protection system (MIPS) also enhances safety. In summary, it offers versatility for various environments, from forests to single tracks to city streets.

Features include the Cord Loc Fit System, detachable soft visor, integrated clip for mounting an LED light, reinforced ventilation openings for connection with a bicycle lock, reflective material in the belts, fully encapsulated polycarbonate shell with EPS liner, and MIPS (Multidirectional Impact Protection System). It has a universal fit for head sizes 54 to 61 cm.

The MIPS consists of a movable shell inside the helmet that follows the head's movement (10-15 mm) and absorbs any rotational energy generated during falls to protect the brain. The Cord Loc Fit System is a simple and durable fitting system, allowing for stepless adjustment by pulling the elastic adjustment band, with a plastic locking device that clamps the band, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit.

With in-mold construction, the robust polycarbonate outer shell is bonded to the impact-absorbing EPS inner shell in a single operation during foaming, making the helmet more resistant without additional weight. This production process also enables significantly better ventilation systems and vents. Compared to traditional helmets, in-mold helmets are lighter and offer superior ventilation. The helmets in Giro's Universal Fit family are designed to fit most people at the first fitting, ensuring a perfect and secure fit with easy-to-use and comfortable fitting systems.
