Giro Coalition Spherical MIPS Helmet

An impressively lightweight full-face helmet that still comes with massive protection. Despite weighing just 800 grams, the Coalition offers the safety of Spherical Technology™, powered by MIPS®, which embeds our innovative Mips integration between independent EPP and EPS layers to optimise high and low speed impact management. The Coalition Spherical can also rival the ventilation and cooling of some road helmets by combining massive front intakes with efficient rear exhausts via deep internal channels. As with many of our developments, one of the Coalition's most impressive innovations is hidden inside: the Halo System combines a chin bar with Pebax® (a material developed to offer the perfect range of flexibility and stiffness) and elastomer bushings integrated into the EPS to absorb and dissipate kinetic forces. The result is a helmet that exceeds the standard test for chin bar deformation by almost double. With Ionic+™ padding for odour control and two sets of removable cheek pads to fine-tune the fit, the Coalition Spherical sets new standards for lightweight full-face protection.
