The Dragontail Synth GTX is a shoe that, in contrast to its predecessors, offers significantly more comfort, but has to make concessions on the technical side.
Lightweight approach shoes for challenging terrain. The Dragontail Synth GTX by Garmont are extremely lightweight approach shoes featuring a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane. They prepare you for difficult ground with steep ascents and descents. The sturdy synthetic fabric with welded reinforcements reliably protects your feet from debris and is characterized by good abrasion resistance.
Flexible sole construction and stable heel position. The slightly softer sole design, made of a GTF diamond outsole and a dense EVA midsole, provides you with a good sense of the ground's texture while ensuring a firm grip. Ideal for minor climbs on the way to the crag. The Heel-Lock system ensures that your heels stay securely in place and do not slip. This helps prevent blisters and gives you additional control on technical sections. To guarantee a comfortable stand, Garmont incorporates a soft, heel-supported Ultralite insole from Ortholite.
Key features at a glance: lightweight approach shoes for demanding terrain, waterproof GORE-TEX membrane, outsole with excellent grip, Heel-Lock system for a stable heel position.
