The Garmont 9.81 Onyx GTX is a lightweight and robust hiking shoe specifically designed for approach. With a running-inspired last, it offers an unstructured fit that ensures freedom of movement and comfort. The shoe combines technical features with a dynamic design to guarantee optimal grip and agile support on various surfaces. The upper is made from durable polyester and high-strength polyamide yarn, while the lining is equipped with the PFC-free GTX® Extended Comfort membrane, providing waterproofing and breathability. The warm-molded PU foam in the insole adds extra comfort, while the Vibram® outsole with MEGAGRIP compound and TRACTION LUG technology ensures excellent traction. Weighing only 440 grams per shoe (size 8 UK), the 9.81 Onyx GTX is ideal for technical hikes and approaches.
