G-Form Youth Pro-Rugged Knee-Shin Guards. With the new Pro-Rugged, G-Form heralds a new generation of protectors. The new laminate with EVA - + Smartflex foam + Armortex combines comfort, increased protection, light weight and low packing volume. The G-Form Pro-Rugged knee-shin protector is probably the lightest (approx. 250g/pair/S/M), most comfortable and protective protector in its category. Its packing size (approx. 11x8 cm/S(M)) is also unrivalled. The Smartflex polymer foam hardens within milliseconds of an impact and absorbs up to 90% of the energy. After the fall, the foam immediately becomes soft and supple again. The Smartflex foam is overlaminated with a Kevlar fabric, underlaminated with supple EVA and sewn onto a fine Lycra stocking, so the G-Form protector fits around the knee and lower leg almost like a second skin. G-Form protectors are significantly less sweaty than conventional protectors, but still protect the knees and lower legs effectively from the cold. Since there is hardly any weight and thanks to the wide rubberised edges, G-Form protectors hardly slip. For additional support and adjustability, an elastic band is attached to the upper end which provides even better support and individual adjustability. The Pro-Rugged Knee-Shin Guards are recommended for trail, downhill, park or 4X use. The waterproof pads seal out foam eroding sweat and can be washed at 40°.
