Frio Cooler bag

The insulin pen cooler bag from the FRIO brand offers an innovative solution for keeping insulin cool for diabetics. This slim container, suitable for an insulin pen, measures 6.5 x 18 cm and utilises patented cooling technology. The cooling bag consists of crystals inside which form a gel that keeps the pen cool through evaporation. By placing it in cold water for 5-10 minutes, the cooling effect is activated and keeps the insulin pen cool for at least 45 hours at 37 degrees Celsius, making it ideal for travelling. The enclosed outer pocket protects the surrounding objects, for example in a handbag or suitcase. The pockets are also useful for other medications that must not exceed room temperature, e.g. adrenaline, Norvir, glaucoma drops, nitrolingual pump spray. When using a digital metal pen, an additional nylon inner bag is required, which protects against moisture and is available for all FRIO bags.
