The Twin-Tube design from 2016-2024 was an engineering masterpiece but came with some durability challenges. The completely reinterpreted FLOAT X2 shock, starting in 2025, has been completely redesigned and is based on a revolutionary monotube architecture.

The Performance Elite is the equivalent version of the Factory series without the Kashima coating and is part of the first 4-way adjustable monotube shock. It features high/low-speed compression and rebound, including Variable Valve Control (VVC) for finely adjustable precise damping performance.

Optimized air damping performance with coil-like ride comfort. The oversized air chamber and reservoir allow for precise air volume tuning for perfect adjustment to individual riding styles and trail conditions.

A larger ½-inch shock shaft and reinforced chassis provide increased stability and durability for the toughest downhill and enduro applications. It features a supportive firm mode (no lockout) with its own control circuit and a locking lever adjustment.
