Our equestrian developers have designed this riding protection vest to safeguard your upper body in the event of a fall. The Riding Protection Vest 100 is made from foam plates. The well-adhering Velcro fasteners ensure stability and safety while riding. While protective vests or back protectors cannot prevent certain injuries, they can influence the severity of injuries in the event of a fall. After a fall, the protective vest or back protector must be replaced, as the effectiveness of the product can no longer be guaranteed.

The Safety vest is a Class 2 safety vest. It meets the recommended minimum requirements for normal riding activities, from beginners to experienced riders who ride in a riding club or engage in any form of equestrian sport, except for driving sports and official eventing tests, for which wearing a Class 3 protective vest is recommended.

The protective vest must always be closed and fit snugly against the body. It should be worn over light clothing. Do not wash in a machine. Wipe the vest with a damp sponge or cloth and let it dry afterwards.

The classification of the protection class depends on the type of protection: back protector, vest, or airbag. For the riding protection vest, the classifications are as follows:

• Protection Class 1: Minimum protection for experienced jockeys
• Protection Class 2: Suitable protection for low-risk equestrian sports, minimum protection for leisure riders
• Protection Class 3: Higher protection for leisure and competition riders as well as for individuals who work in direct contact with horses.
