The Deep Space Alpha MIPS is the latest addition to the popular Deep Space collection. This new helmet combines a range of award-winning safety and comfort features, making it ideal for all-mountain use. New for the 22/23 season is the twICEme® NFC Medical ID, which provides access to important medical information and contact details for emergencies, while the RECCO® reflector enhances your visibility to professional rescuers in the event of an avalanche accident or if you get lost in the wilderness. The helmet features MIPS technology (short for Multi-directional Impact Protection System) to protect against rotational forces, and the hybrid shell construction, which combines in-mold technology with a robust ABS shell, allows for optimized weight, durability, and structural stability. The core is made from 100% recycled EPS, thoroughly developed and optimized to provide a sleek profile with full protection. The Deep Space Alpha MIPS helmet is generously ventilated with easily adjustable ventilation, combined with integrated Primaloft Gold insulation for added warmth on colder days. Flaxta's unique FoamFit lining is based on memory foam that adapts to the shape of the head. Together with the integrated size adjustment system and the easy-to-use height adjustability, the helmet offers a personalized, comfortable, and secure fit.
