FJÄLLRÄVEN G-1000 material. FJÄLLRÄVEN's legendary durable G-1000 material consists of an extremely tightly woven polyester-cotton blend. It is windproof and blocks sunlight. G-1000 can be treated with Greenland Wax, an eco-friendly mix of beeswax and paraffin, making it waterproof and dirt-repellent. The treatment can be adjusted at any time according to conditions: for warm, humid climates, it can simply be washed out, while for cool, wet climates, it can be reinforced in exposed areas.
