Made from durable G-1000 Original and reinforced at the lower part with particularly robust G-1000 Heavy Duty. Both materials are water-repellent and moisture-wicking. Boot-compatible design that is cut to prevent slipping down while walking. Opening with Velcro and zipper.

G-1000 Original is a durable and adaptable material from Fjällräven. The dense fabric is wind- and water-repellent and very robust, yet extremely breathable and quick-drying. G-1000 is made from a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, which is waxed with a thin layer of Greenland wax. The wax provides the material with additional protection against dirt, wind, and moisture and can easily be applied thicker or washed out as needed. Besides protecting against wind and weather, G-1000 also shields against harmful UV rays and annoying insect bites.

G-1000 is robust, but G-1000 Heavy Duty takes it a step further. It is impregnated on both sides with Greenland Wax, making it more durable than ever before. However, this makes it less breathable than the original G-1000, so Fjällräven uses it for products where durability is more important than breathability.
