Fjällräven G-1000 material: Fjällräven's legendary durable G-1000 material is made from an extremely tightly woven blend of polyester and cotton. It is windproof and blocks out sunlight. G-1000 can be impregnated with Greenland Wax, an eco-friendly mixture of beeswax and paraffin, making it waterproof and dirt-repellent. The impregnation can be adjusted at any time to suit the conditions: for warm, humid climates, it can simply be washed out, while for cool, wet climates, it can be reinforced in exposed areas.
