Durable outdoor jacket with thoughtful features for demanding tours in any season. The hood is adjustable, allowing it to perfectly frame the face. Thanks to a new visor design, the brim can be bent back in two stages, depending on whether maximum wind protection or more visibility to the sides is desired. When lowered, the hood forms a high collar that warms the neck and throat perfectly. Numerous storage options for maps, GPS, radios, and other essentials are available in two angled chest pockets with flaps, two large bellows pockets at the bottom, and two pockets on the back. Additionally, the jacket is equipped with two inner pockets, including one with a zipper. An extra fabric wedge in the armpit area and a pleat at the back provide plenty of freedom of movement. Sleeve cuffs feature button closures. The jacket is made from wind- and water-resistant G-1000 Eco, a material made from recycled polyester and organic cotton. The shoulder area, sleeves, and pockets are made from extra-strong G-1000 HeavyDuty. Materials and details have been chosen to minimize environmental impact – for example, most leather details are made from leather waste – and exposed parts can be easily replaced after years of use.
