To save weight, the design has been deliberately reduced to the essentials. The pants are equipped with two slit pockets, one leg pocket, and one back pocket with a zipper. Double belt loops at the back ensure a good fit of the belt. Comfortable cut with pre-shaped knees, medium waistband height, and classic fit. Trouser legs narrow towards the bottom with hemmed leg ends.

G-1000 Lite is composed of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. It weighs less and is cooler than the original fabric, making it well-suited for light hiking clothing in summer and travel clothing that must withstand a lot. The fabric is sewn with ripstop threads, ensuring durability despite its relatively low weight.
