The technical cut with pre-shaped knees and the stretch material provide a good fit and unrestricted freedom of movement. Long ventilation zippers from the hips to the knees allow excess heat to escape. Two hand pockets and spacious zippered thigh pockets for maps or similar items. The adjustable straps and boot hooks at the leg openings prevent the pants from riding up. Reinforcements at the leg openings and the inside of the calves protect against wear.
