The lightweight yet durable G-1000 Lite combined with robust four-way stretch material makes the pants snug, particularly airy, and allows for quick drying. Ideal for hot days when you want to wear long pants to protect against thorny underbrush and insect bites. The technical cut with pre-shaped knees and the stretch material provide a good fit and unrestricted freedom of movement. Long ventilation zippers from the hips to the knees allow excess heat to escape. Two hand pockets and spacious thigh pockets with zippers for maps or similar items. The adjustable straps and boot hooks at the leg openings prevent the pants from riding up. Reinforcements at the leg openings and the inside of the calves protect against wear. G-1000 Lite weighs less and is cooler than the original fabric, making it suitable for lightweight summer hiking clothing and travel wear that needs to withstand a lot. The fabric is sewn with ripstop threads, making it very durable despite its relatively low weight.
