An advanced 3D-printed bike saddle with a versatile short-nose design and lightweight carbon rail system that prioritises comfort, responsiveness and stability for a wide range of body types and riding positions. The Fizik Adaptive 3D-printed padding finally joins the Argo family, making it the perfect addition for those seeking exceptional, long-lasting comfort on a versatile platform that offers both stability and balance. The development of digital 3D printing has allowed us to create a new saddle without the constraints or limitations imposed by traditional production methods and materials. The padding of the Adaptive saddle is manufactured by Carbon using the revolutionary Digital Light Synthesis technology. DLS is an additive manufacturing process that utilises digital ultraviolet light projection, oxygen permeable optics and programmable liquid resins to produce parts with superior mechanical properties, resolution and surface finish. With the help of carbon technology, biomechanists and engineers have an unprecedented opportunity: they can design and manufacture multiple functional zones within the saddle and tune each of them separately for specific mechanical properties. Each of these key functional zones is designed for a specific cushioning and mechanical response, and is progressively and seamlessly joined together in the same padding. The result? A 60% reduction in peak pressure through improved weight distribution for greater comfort across the entire saddle surface.
