Fizik Decos Carbon

The Decos is a high-performance road shoe for riders outside the demanding professional peloton. Instead, the new Decos embodies Fizik's famous minimalist design at its best. A disciplined approach to simplicity has been taken for these shoes to deliver the pure road riding experience you expect from Fizik, from epic big mountain rides to granfondos and beyond. The sleek upper is made from an elasticated polyurethane laminate combined with a comfortable mesh material. The result is reduced give and long-lasting support for the foot where it's needed most. The fit is practical and can be quickly adjusted with a single bi-directional Li2 BOA adjuster. The Decos Carbon also features an all-new outsole, the R3, which has been developed with an updated carbon fibre layup and a new design to save weight without compromising stiffness. With an index of 10, the R3 is a stiff outsole that allows for optimal power transfer. Two wide vents and deep internal channels provide cooling airflow to help manage temperature. The R3 outsole is aligned with the latest trends in bike fitting and features a recessed cleat positioning, as on all current Fizik models, to optimise pedalling efficiency and reduce compression in the knee. This is particularly suitable for very aggressive, front aero positions.
