Hey Rob, what is the Seaside...? I'm simply evolving the Go Fish into something new. The Go Fish is fast and feels skatey and loose, and I love it. After riding it for a few years, I want more performance - more carves, tighter turns. So with the Seaside, it's all about refinement... less area in the tail, narrower tips, more curves, and a narrower nose. All elements for ripping, while the Go Fish remains cruisy and fun. The Seaside is only suitable for quads, why? I decided that if I'm building a quad, then it should be a quad that is exclusively a quad... The concavity and bottom contours should be tailored to that. I redesigned my entire concave setup that I used on the Moonbeam and the Go Fish, keeping the quad setup in mind so that everything fits together. Why did you name this shape after your home break Seaside? Naming surfboards might be the hardest thing on this planet [laughs]. It's just the perfect little stick when I'm surfing at my home spot, Seaside.
