The heart of the Exum ergometer is the training computer with a clear blue backlight display that reveals a lot of attention to detail: training facts such as distance, time, speed, cadence, and calorie consumption are visible at a glance. Heart rate can be conveniently measured using the included ear clip or the integrated chest strap receiver. The heart rate is also displayed as a percentage on the screen, which is practical since many training guidelines for cardio devices are given in percentages. To keep training on the Exum from becoming boring, users can choose from 12 different hill and valley profiles and 4 heart rate programs. Manually, an intensity of up to 400 watts can be set.
