The ripSpool set was the brainchild of Daniel from Battlbox and Rob from Exotac. Both wanted to create something unique and meaningful that is both appealing and uncompromising. It started with a simple way to carry duct tape and ended up as an emergency repair kit.

The ripSpool is a lightweight emergency repair kit suitable for a variety of applications: e.g., first aid, fire starting, fishing, and navigation.

Inside the ripSpool, there is also space for other items like fishing hooks or safety pins, in addition to the needle. The #16 needle can be magnetized and then used as an improvised compass.
