The Safety Level Ergotec® is a safety classification for bicycle components. The Ergotec® products have a Safety Level ranging from 1 to 6. The higher the level, the greater the safety. Defined based on the latest European standards, the Ergotec® "Safety Level" concept is based on safety levels that take into account:
- the type of bicycle
- the weight of the rider
- and their equipment.
These safety levels are engraved on the handlebars, stems, and seat posts.
