The Elan Ripstick Tour 88 W is what the ski touring world has been waiting for. Low weight, good buoyancy, fast, stable, strong and versatile - all combined in one ski. Our freeriders and guides demand absolute perfection wherever they go. We have developed this groundbreaking construction with them, which allows us to reduce the weight to a minimum and at the same time increase the performance to a maximum. Yet the ski remains playful and versatile for any terrain. With a centre width of 88mm, it is very light and easy to ride, making it a state-of-the-art touring ski.
Free touring is the trend in alpinism. The mixture of light equipment that convinces with performance in powder and stability in difficult conditions is essential. The Ripstick Tour 88 W is wide enough to feel safe on descents and narrow enough to comfortably master long ascents. This makes it a multi-talent in the touring segment. With a weight of around 1170 g per ski, we have achieved the ideal weight of a women's touring ski without compromising on stability and performance. With the deliberately integrated Carbon Bridge technology, we have built in carbon reinforcements that provide a rounded feel and playful responsiveness. The length of the carbon inserts was chosen to minimise vibrations and unrest in the shovel. The reduced sidewall design gives the ski a distinctive look and brings the benefit of further weight reduction. Full sidewalls increase edge pressure and contact with the base. With an optimal weight-to-performance ratio, the freeride profile of this ski ensures unforgettable experiences in open terrain, whatever the conditions.
