The lightest, specially crafted carbon enduro and downhill crankset. Unlike the Gen3 carbon cranks from e*thirteen, the overall profile and volume of the Gen4 cranks have become much smaller and sleeker. This also led to a significant improvement in the distance between the chainring and the frame or chain guide, which was one of the main complaints regarding the Gen3 cranks. The Gen4 Carbon Race Crank from e*thirteen moves the spindle to the non-driven side of the crank to facilitate chain guide and drivetrain maintenance. LG1 Race cranks are based on race-proven World Cup DH tests and results. Highly compressed carbon fiber arms are meticulously connected to e*thirteen's Connect Polygon interface, creating a robust, reliable, and impact-resistant spindle-arm connection. The construction and spindle thicknesses are exactly the same for the 73 mm and 83 mm spindle models. An adjustable chainline accommodates multiple rear axle spacings, allowing you to achieve non-boost, boost, or super-boost configurations simply by placing the spacers in or out of the chainring. Lastly, e*thirteen's cranks now include an 8 mm self-extractor, meaning the cranks can be easily removed with nothing more than an 8 mm hex key.
